LIVING DIVANI’S COLLECTION FOR PIERO LISSONI’S HOTEL PARTICULIER.
Living Divani, reference point on the furniture design scene due to the harmonious proportions and sense of understated luxury of its upholstery, is one of the protagonists of Piero Lissoni’s Hotel Particulier, conceived by the designer on the occasion of "Elle Decor Grand Hotel" installation project at Palazzo Morando, via Sant’Andrea 6, Milan.
From 6th to 22nd October, the historic building, today home to the city and civic collection of Costume and Fashion, is transformed into a Grand Hotel interpreted according to the aesthetic codes of Elle Decor Italia in collaboration with two exceptional designers, Piero Lissoni, who designed the project for the public areas and Patricia Urquiola, who designed the more private rooms. An exhibition that is the result of reflection on the evolution of the hotel concept, where the visitor is invited to interact with the space through multimedia installations.
Living Divani’s refined and discreet style was chosen to contribute to the project of Piero Lissoni, art director and designer of the brand since 1988, inspired by the French hotel particulier, luxurious residences typical between the Seventeen and Eighteen Centuries.
The company naturally fits in the exhibition itinerary by furnishing the indoor and outdoor spaces with its own collection, result of a gradual process of creation: an upholstery system, with its subtle shapes and proportions, enhanced by characterful complements - seats, armchairs, beds, tables, bookcases – that will suit and define any setting, from the essential and rigorous to the multifarious and eclectic décor.
